Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur and German script is in the lower portion of the document. Above it is a tree-like plant with various flowers, including tulips. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. This bookplate is in the Mennonite hymnal Die kleine geistliche Harfe (Germantaun: Michael Billmeyer, 1803). (PA GER Germantown 1803 K673)
The decoration and handwriting relate to work attributed to schoolmaster Jacob Oberholtzer. See Amsler, pp. 280-283.
