Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur is in the lower portion of the document. Additonal text in Germans script within a heart is in the center. Above it is a tree-like plant with several stems of flowers, including a tulip. The item is framed on the top, bottom and right side by a decorative border. This bookplate is in the Reformed hymnal Das neue und verbesserte Gesangbuch (Germantaun: Michael Billmeyer, 1813)  (PA GER Germantown 1813 G31).
