Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur extends across the entire document. In the upper corners and lower center are birds perched on flowering branches. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. This bookplate is in Das Neue Testament (Germantaun: M. Billmeyer, 1819).  (PA GER Germantown 1819 B471)

Both Durs Rudy Sr. and Jr. are thought to have made fraktur; firm attributions to one hand or the other are difficult.
