Hand-drawn; hand-colored. This drawing is in the back of the book. It is a portrait of a woman wearing an empire waist black blouse, blue skirt, and lace shawl. There is some pencil writing at the top of the drawing that is not legible.  The title page of the book is missing. Based on the preface, it is a hymnal that was published in New Market, Virginia, in 1811. It bears the stamp of the shop of “Salomon Henkel, in Neumarket, Schenandoah Caunty, Virginien.”  (PA GER New market 1812 H389)
