Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The bookplate consists of a drawing of a man and a woman who are facing each other. The woman is wearing a long dress, and the man is wearing a long coat. The text in Roman script is written vertically between them. This bookplate is in The Holy Bible (New York: D. & G. Bruce for the American Bible Society, 1826).  (PA GER New York 1826 B471)
