Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur is in the center of the document. It is surrounded on the bottom and sides by decorative spirals as well as flowers. Above it is a bird that is perched on a flower. IN the lower center is another spiral. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. This bookplate is in Catechismus, Oder Kurzer Unterricht Christlicher Lehre (Philadelphia, Pa.: Georg W. Mentz, 1810).  (CB 1810 H362c)
