Translation:

Dinah Folmer’s New Testament, and [she] is a student in the Birckensee [Perkasie] German School. Written the 28th of March in the year of our Lord 1846.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur is in the center of the document. Additional text in German script is within a heart in the lower center. The text and heart are surrounded by undulating leafy vines with various flowers, including tulips. The entire document is framed by a decorative border. This bookplate is in the handbook of prayers and songs for “healthy, sad, sick and dying Christians” titled Johann Friedrich Starcks ... Tägliches Handbuch in guten und bösen Tagen (Philadelphia: W.
