Notes:

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur and German script is in the center of the document. It is flanked on both sides by two tall, leafy tulips that seem to grow from a large flower in the lower portion of the document. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. This bookplate is in the catechism Christliches Gemüths=Gespräch (Lancaster, Pa.: Henrich und Benjamin Grimler, 1811).   (RBD CB 1811 R676c)
