This is a ca. 1930 interior shot, taken by amateur Philadelphia photographer Claude Alexander, of a service station tool shelf or work station, with instructional posters on the wall. The two outer posters read: "Valves are corrected, not ground--ask about it! The Kwik-Way System." The large sheet in the center gives diagrams and notes about heat-related repairs, with the following header: "HEAT is the most destructive and costly factor with which your engine must contend."
