I'm worried is a book about a small potatoe who is worried about everything in the future.  His friend shows him that sometimes bad things will happen but over time they turned out okay and how a bad thing can change but worrying doesnt help.  

A little dinosaur, worrysaurus, was one who liked it when he knew what laid ahead of him.  But in his head he dreamt up things that could go wrong, did he bring with him enough to eat, drink he over thought everything.  What if he got lost what if he was scared.  He worred if a storm might be coming and it put a cloud above his head.  Then  he thought about what his mother would say, he would carry a tin of happy things and he would hold them one by one till he felt better.

The Free library comes alive with these book loving bats!  The book is set to a rhyme and shows how the bats can lose themselves into the books and halls of the library.  The wreck havoc with the copying machine and the water fountain.  The fantasies and fun the bats have will entertain little ones.  Great picture book and illustrations to look at.

Armadillo Antics is a cute picture book about facts and getting children to know about the creatures that roam outside at night in the woods.  Bill Martin Jr. is an acclaimed children's author who wrote a delightful book for children to learn more about armadillos.  The last page has fun true facts about the armadillo.  , beautiful illustrations by Nathalie Beauvois

Ali was a bright star and loved to sing and dance and act.  Written by broadway star Ali Stroker 

In this delightful picture book Ali wants to put on a show at Breezy Beach.  She held auditions and everyone wanted to be a part of the show.  She cast her best friend, her little sister, and neighbor.  They gave away tickets, they built their own sets out of cardboard boxes.  They rehearsed every day, and Ali thought about it all night.

Bella's Fall coat is a story about Bella Marie and her grandmom who made Bella's coat.  The Fall leaves were laying and the weather was getting colder out.  Bella's coat was getting too small for her but Bella didnt care she loved the coat her grandmom made for her.  She picked apples and leaves with her coat, she stretched and reached with her coat.  But one day when she was pretending to flap and fly with the geese her coat got a hole in it.  She asked her grandmother to fix it.  Grandmother  worked all night at cutting and sewing a new coat for Bella with big pockets.  Once Bella saw how much she loved the new coat , Bella swirled and twirled and loved it. 

Humphrey is the classroom pet , and Heidi is taking him along on a backyard campout with her and her friends.  There are pranksters next door , roasting marshmallows, and searching for creepy crawlies .  Its about Humphrey trying to show these girls that they are not scaredy cats.  

Wonderful illustrations as well and enjoyable to read.

Monkey and Elephant are close friends and they live in the hot jungle and they set out to search for shade.  The adventures begin and the two friends find out some things about each other they do not like .  These good friends.  try to find shade and and stay friends.  

Spending time with dad , it starts out with describing his dad as having big , buggy eyes, strong legs and a huge mouth.

You can see that Tad loves his dad very much.  But Tad is growing bigger every day, first he grew legs, then he grew a big mouth and he ate more and more.  Tad got so big , it might be time little Tad gets his own pad to sleep on.  

This book is for all dinosaur lovers.  A small bird declares it is a dinosaur, but how can it be a dino when it is so little.  It is a lesson that birds are in deed dinosaurs.  

This beautiful illustrated picture book is an informative for little ones.

This series continues with the group working toward saving Laios's sister and eating delicious meals. At times you consistently wonder how many lives can the group live with how many dangerous situations they find themselves in. This is continues to be a story where there is the absurdity and good eats, as Kui gives recipes for each of the dishes that is prepared. This part of the story gets more meta, specifically for Ryoko Kui pointing out what happens if a characters has their greatest wish fulfilled and then what can happen as time goes on. This volume is pretty exciting. Manga readalikes for this series is Toriko and Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill.

Story about Nimbus and dreaming of having someone to keep her company.  She misses her chance to wish on a falling star, she then follows the glow to an island where she meets some mysterious creatures who leaves her thinking about friendships.

Be in the present moment with this book.  The author Maria Gianferrari has made a book of mindfulness for children.  Like the dog in the book, wag your body, breathe in sniff, sniff, sniff, stretch, greet the day, munch your food.  Play every day is the motto.

This book takes place in Brazil South America and everyone knows there is no lions in South America, but there is a roar like a lion in the forest.  This book is a cute pictation of South America and the forest you would see.  The animals such as a Toucan, Capybaras, Coastis, Brazilian Tanagers, Jacquars, Golden Lion Tamarins, which are part of the monkey family all living together.  They hear a loud roar in the forest and think its a Lion , but there are no lions living in South America. After checking all the other animals they find out its the Golden Lion Tamarin.  

The end of the book describles all the animals you find in the book.

This is a good read. I found myself drawn into the story. Much of the text in this book is actually with subtitles which is unexpected (Japanese), so I found myself enjoying reading the Japanese conversational text. Himewari House shows the stories of three females who find themselves living in a shared home in Tokyo as a coming of age story. I definitely thought about buying this book for my own personal collection. Thank you Free Library for having this book!

She defies her family's expectations of being a math whiz to taking up basketball and finally to drawing. All the while she shares her background as an American raised Chinese who would have identity crisis upon going to college at the University of Pennsylvania. This is a coming of age story, with her story not ending just yet. Gao currently lives in San Francisco, and while she said that her parents may not know that she is out of the closet just yet, she is queer and living. This is an #aapi #immigrant story.
