Free Workshops for West Philly: Home Ownership

Fri, March 18, 2016 4:00 P.M.
The Free Library Hot Spot at Heavenly Hall Annex

Do you really own your own home? Many people in Philadelphia think they own the home they live in, but actually don’t for a variety of reasons including informal inheritance and undocumented family gifts.  Many titles are tangled, disputed, or just plain in someone else’s name. Come to the Hot Spot at Heavenly hall to work directly with Penn Law students on these issues. Patrons will have help searching their title, diagnosing ownership issues, and taking the first steps towards clearing title to their greatest asset.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. For more information or to register, please contact Brian Isdell at 215-686-5372 or stop in the Free Library Hot Spot in the Heavenly Hall Annex during open access hours: Monday- Thursday 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. and Friday 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

This workshop will be held at the Free Library Hot Spot at Heavenly Hall Annex: 4015 Poplar Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
