Celebrating its 30^th anniversary in 2014, the Mural Arts Program of Philadelphia has produced more than 3,800 murals and public art projects that have brightened every Philadelphia neighborhood. Under the guidance of Jane Golden, the program has engaged thousands of people of all ages from across the city, and demonstrated how participatory public art can empower individuals and foster collective healing.
