Michael Connelly's books have won the Edgar, Anthony, Macavity, Nero, Barry, Maltese Falcon (Japan), .38 Caliber (France), Grand Prix (France), and Premio Bancarella (Italy) awards. In 2003 Connelly will be President of the Mystery Writers of America. Connelly is the creator of LAPD Detective Hieronymus Bosch who stars in many of his books including City of Bones, a 2002 New York Times Notable Book Of The Year, and the forthcoming Lost Light.
