Vartan Gregorian is the president of Carnegie Corporation of New York and past president of both Brown University and the New York Public Library. He developed a love of books as a child in the public library of his hometown in Tabriz, Iran where he borrowed books that provided the “first glimpse of life beyond my neighborhood.” The Road to Home recounts Gregorian’s journey from an impoverished childhood, to a citizen of the world – famous for his wit and wisdom.
