This landmark work fuses classical acoustic/electronic violin performance, spoken word, song, electronica, and hip-hop beats. The performance features students from the CAPA Jazz Band. DBR, is an innovative musical artist living, composing, performing, and teaching in Harlem. Blending classical styles and hip-hop idioms, his music uses drum loops, a professional string quartet, electric guitars, and sampled ambient sounds of Harlem itself.
