Jhumpa Lahiri received the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for her debut collection of short stories, Interpreter of Maladies. Her stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Agni, and Story Quarterly, as well as in Prize Stories: The O. Henry Awards and The Best American Short Stories.
