In conversation with Blondie co-founder and renowned photographer Chris Stein, and multidisciplinary artist and director, Rob Roth—accompanied by a visual presentation.

Debbie Harry is an acclaimed musician, actor, and style icon. As the frontwoman for the rock band Blondie, she came up in the ’70s New York music scene that included a who’s who of the last half-century’s most influential artists. Her crossover career rivals the likes of David Bowie (also her friend): Harry’s acting credits include roles in David Cronenberg and John Waters films, she was painted by Andy Warhol, and weekends would sometimes find her with William S. Burroughs. Including personal photos, original illustrations, and other multi-disciplinary texts, Face It is a memoir populated with the extraordinary characters and experiences of Harry’s rich life.

Chris Stein is co-founder, songwriter and guitarist of the iconic punk band and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Blondie, whose most recent studio album, Pollinator, was named one of Rolling Stone‘s 20 Best Pop Albums of 2017.

Rob Roth is a multidisciplinary artist and director based in New York City. He works in a variety of media including theater, video, sculpture and performance.

Seating in each section is general admission.
Pick up book at the venue upon entrance to the auditorium.
There will not be a signing or photo-op at the event.
