The Languages and Learning Center is dedicated to supporting the individual learning goals of Philadelphia’s adults.

As this March marks the one-year-anniversary of Philadelphia’s stay-at-home orders and social distance recommendations, we have been reflecting on how the shift to online learning has impacted adult education programming at the Free Library. Take a look at what the adult participants in our virtual education programs have to say about their experiences this year:

Though the pandemic has changed the way we interact with others, the Languages and Learning Center remains dedicated to providing adults with educational resources and programming. We will continue to advance literacy, aid in learning, and provide a place to explore for adult learners in the Philadelphia area.
