Celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’ 107th Birthday

The Free Library of Philadelphia, in conjunction with the National Education Association, will promote literacy awareness and the joy of reading during the month of March in conjuction with Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’ Birthday on March 2. Special Seuss-themed events will take place throughout the Free Library of Philadelphia system featuring special guests, cat stories, and activities. Find an event near you!

ANDORRA BRANCH
Dr. Seuss Storytime
Wednesday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m.

Everyone is invited to join Ruth Rubin as we celebrate the birthday of the loveable Dr. Seuss. 

EASTWICK BRANCH
Family Storytime
Thursday, March 3 at 10:30 a.m.
Children 3 to 5 years old and their caregivers are invited to enjoy Dr. Seuss stories, songs, and rhymes. Daycare centers should call 215-685-4170 to schedule a separate, fun-filled appointment.

FALLS OF SCHUYLKILL BRANCH

Thursday, March 17 at 10:30 a.m.
Children 6 years old and younger and their caregivers are invited to enjoy Dr. Seuss stories, songs, and activities.
