Spring is upon us, and as cliché as it sounds, it’s the best time to clean, rearrange, and freshen up just about anything. Has winter clutter taken over your house? Has your to-be-filed pile extended the length of your desk? Luckily, the Free Library’s got resources to help put the spring back in your step!
Spring cleaning for me mostly means redecorating, and there’s tons of inspiration in the Library’s cache of interior decorating books. The smart ideas and glossy pictures in Apartment Therapy Presents Real Homes, Real People, Hundreds of Real Design Solutions is a fun way to invigorate your space now that spring’s rolled in. If you’re looking for a more international take on interior design, there’s Apartments: Defining Style, which gives a peek into both modern and antique arrangements. Finally, if you’re like me and don’t have quite the square footage of some of the places in Real Homes, Real People, there’s always Small Space Decorating.
So jump on the spring cleaning train. With the way the weather’s been lately, summer will be here before you know it!
