As severe storm warnings in our area continue, we have unfortunately been met with a weather forecast that has forced us to cancel the Brews & Views series in full. Wishing all of our loyal patrons a safe and happy summer! We’ll see you again when Brews & Views returns this fall.
The Free Library’s rooftop beer garden series, Brews & Views, held in partnership with Brûlée Catering, pops back up at the Parkway Central Library next week!
On May 21, 22, and 23, and May 28, 29, and 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., join us on the Skyline Terrace for refreshing drinks and spectacular views of the city!
Attendees will also have the opportunity to see the library’s At These Crossroads exhibition in the West Gallery, on view until 9:00 p.m. every evening. It will be a great opportunity, as well, for visitors to explore the Reimagined Parkway Central spaces, which opened in April, including The Robert and Eileen Kennedy Heim Center for Cultural and Civic Engagement and the new Business Resource and Innovation Center (BRIC).
The beer garden is free to enter and no advance registration is required. All are welcome; guests must be 21 and up to purchase and consume alcohol. Staff will check IDs before allowing guests up to the rooftop. Local craft beers, wine, and cocktails will be available for purchase, along with a menu of made-to-order snacks from Brûlée's chefs.
For more information on the beer garden series, look for the Brews & Views event page on Facebook and follow @freelibrary and @Brulee_Catering on Twitter and Instagram! Cheers!
