The Free Library of Philadelphia is pleased to present a series of upcoming job fairs, made possible by Citizens Charitable Foundation. The series will kick off with a special nonprofit job fair on Wednesday, October 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Parkway Central Library.
Additional job fairs will be taking place at the following neighborhood library locations:
- Paschalville Library | 6942 Woodland Avenue | Wednesday, October 30 | 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
- Northeast Regional Library | 2228 Cottman Avenue | Friday, November 15 | 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
These job fairs feature companies from across the Philadelphia region. There will be plenty of opportunities for job seekers to learn about open positions, talk to prospective employers, and share their résumés. In addition, job seekers can discover free and low-cost resources and tools to help their job search. The fairs are free and no registration is required. More information can be found at freelibrary.org/jobfairs.
In addition to job fairs, the Free Library’s career services hub, the Workplace at Parkway Central Library, provides free access to computers for job searching and skill-building exercises, bi-monthly Résumé Review, head shots to help amp up your LinkedIn profile, and classes to help improve digital job seeking skills. The Job Readiness Lab at Paschalville Library in Southwest Philadelphia is a great neighborhood library option for job seekers.
