In partnership with Temple University College of Education and Human Development, the Free Library of Philadelphia is excited to announce a new free digital learning series: Tech Talk: Digital Skills for Adult Learners.
The classes will meet twice weekly for two hours on-site at Ramonita G. de Rodriguez Library: 600 West Girard Ave. The series begins on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
The series will cover the following topics:
- Digital basics for new learners and beginners
- Computer and Internet skills for job search and career readiness
- Social media and communication tools
- Apps for leisure and entertainment
- Online safety and awareness guidance
The dates for the first series are as follows:
- Tuesday, May 14 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.
- Thursday, May 16 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 21 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.
- Thursday, May 23 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 28 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.
- Thursday, May 30 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Upon completing all six classes, participants will take home a free laptop device!
