Made With Love: Papier-Mâché Workshop
Newspapers and Microfilm Center at Parkway Central Library
Join us at the library to craft your own gifts for friends and family! Participants will design, construct, and decorate papier-mâché gifts, just in time for the winter holidays.
The creativity workshops will take place in the Education, Philosophy, and Religion Department, Room 205 at Parkway Central Library. Each workshop will begin at 5:30 p.m. and wrap up by 7:30 p.m. All materials will be provided, and we encourage participants to work with recycled objects.
This is a 3-part workshop, and we recommend attending at least 2 sessions:
Tuesday, December 3: research, design, construction, paper mache
Tuesday, December 10: construction, paper mache
Tuesday, December 17: paper mache, painting, decoration
We recommend attending all 3 sessions to complete your project. You're welcome to join us at a later session; please come ready with your idea. Drying time is necessary between the papier-mâché and painting sessions.
To RSVP for all 3 sessions, please visit bit.ly/papergifts.
