Join author and illustrator Mônica Carnesi and staff from the Free Library of Philadelphia, as they discuss her new book, There's a Lion in the Forest! Carnesi will share illustrations, discuss the inspirations for the story, and talk about the journey from her initial idea through the book's publication.

This event is hosted by the Children’s Literature Research Collection (CLRC), one of the special collections of the Free Library of Philadelphia. The mission of the Children's Literature Research Collection is to engage the public about the importance of children’s literature in our culture and our society; expand the knowledge base of our patrons through research support; and foster new ideas through displays and exhibitions.
