This series - Science Projects - will introduce African-American inventors and scientists while getting creative.
Today we will talk about Bessie Coleman who was the first African-American woman and the first Native American to hold a pilot's license. She was also the first Black person to earn an International pilot's license. We'll create some planes to fly like Bessie.
