All time slots are currently full and registration is closed. If you are interested in meeting with an expert to discuss this topic, you can reach out to RSVP VEC, the organization that provides the experts for these sessions. VEC offers free consulting sessions outside of our Ask a Nonprofit Expert series.
The Regional Foundation Center is pleased to offer Ask a Nonprofit Expert with Volunteer Executive Consultants (VEC) from RSVP. On the second Wednesday of each month, VECs are available for 45-minute management one-on-one consulting sessions to assist you with a project or goal related to the month's topic. This month's topic: Staff and Volunteer Leadership Development
Most nonprofits depend on both paid staff and volunteers to operate their organizations. Succession planning for both groups of personnel is vital to the ongoing life of the organization. In this consulting session you can discuss how your nonprofit can recruit and train high performing paid staff and volunteers, how staff and volunteers can be identified as future leaders, and how you can train them to become these leaders.
Ask a Nonprofit Expert sessions are provided by Volunteer Executive Consultants (VEC), a program of RSVP. VECs are business professionals who offer management, technical or professional help for growing nonprofits. VEC volunteers work in teams of skilled professionals to address specific needs of nonprofits in the Delaware Valley and provide a variety of expertise for short-term consulting in many fields.
