Admission is free. Open to the public.
Come and talk to the following writers about their projects!
Hillary Steinberg: Burning at Both Ends
Phoebe Gale is twenty-nine, and has had visions of herself in both the past and future since she was eleven. She’s never seen herself past thirty…
Hillary Steinberg is a researcher by day for the government, where she asks accountants how they like to fill out spreadsheets. Her work has previously focused on disability, childhood, gender, and identity. She won her eighth grade talent show, and has been trying to top that achievement ever since.
Warren Basla: Post Roads
When banished Prince Altan’s brother is declared heir to the Mongol empire, he abandons his post to defeat Kublai Khan’s opponents, or risks forfeiting their family’s 100-year old dynasty.
Warren Basla is a youth advocate and fundraising professional. He is passionate about being in nature, studying world cultures, and a good cup of coffee. Warren holds a Master of Science degree in Global & International Education and Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology, both from Drexel University. Currently, he lives in Northwest Philly with his wife, Julie, and their beloved rescue greyhound, Dixie.
