Penn Med's Health Talk Tuesdays | Evidence Based Prevention of Gun Violence
Science and Wellness at Parkway Central Library
NOTICE: Originally scheduled for September 10th, this program was rescheduled due to the early closure of the library.
Join us for a program on gun violence prevention from a public health perspective, featuring Sara Solomon and Bernadette Hohl of the Penn Injury Science Center. Bernadette leads research on neighborhood factors affecting health and safety, while Sara directs street outreach efforts with 15 years of community engagement. We’ll explore Philadelphia’s evidence-based programs for youth, aimed at reducing gun violence.
We will meet on the Second Floor of Parkway Central in Science and Wellness. Registration is not required but is appreciated.
