Join us for, "Mindful Yoga Basics" to experience a comprehensive introduction to yoga – postures, breath, and relaxation tools – in a warm and welcoming environment.
In this weekly class,, you will explore:
- Adaptations of yoga postures – seated in a chair and standing – to increase physical strength and flexibility
- Proper use of yoga props to empower you to safely explore a your full range of mobility
- Mindful breath practices to calm and focus the mind
- Relaxation practices to reduce stress and
- A basic understanding of the benefits of yoga and the system of philosophy that supports the practice
Gently paced and compassionately led, this weekly class offers step-by-step instruction and time for questions, reflection, and feedback.
