"Telling Tales: From Oral Tradition to Art" Exhibition
Children's Literature Research Collection at Parkway Central Library
Storytelling has shaped cultures and captivated imaginations throughout history. Whether teaching moral lessons or celebrating epic heroes, each tale reflects our values, fears, and dreams. Stories reflect the context—past or present—in which they are created, told, and retold. Journey into a rich tapestry of literature and art inspired by the creatures and mythos of lore.
Telling Tales: From Oral Tradition to Art is a collaboration of the Children’s Literature Research Collection, the Map Collection, and the Print and Picture Collection. The exhibition is located in the Second Floor West Gallery of Parkway Central Library.
