Author Talk: Charles Wiedenmann

Author Charles Wiedenmann will present his book, Lawndale: Stories from my Youth: Growing Up in Northeast Philadelphia in the 60s and 70s. The lecture format will allow for an in-depth discussion about the inspiration, creative process, and stories behind the stories. Charles Wiedenmann is the author of Lawndale, Stories from my Youth: Growing up in Northeast Philadelphia in the 60s and 70s, and Down the Shore, Stories from my Summers in Wildwood in the 70s. Other published non-fiction works include Phicklephilly, Phicklephilly 2, Crazy Dating Stories, and Sun Stories: Tales from a Tanning Salon. His fiction titles include Island Serenade, Angel With A Broken Wing, and Below The Wheel. Since 2016, his blog, Phicklephilly, has been published globally every week.
Charles grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and spent summers in Wildwood, NJ. He worked in finance and advertising for 30 years and now resides in Philadelphia, PA. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. This event is free, in-person and open to the public.
