Film Screening: If Beale Street Could Talk (2018)

Join us for a screening of Barry Jenkins' 2018 film, If Beale Street Could Talk, an adaptation James Baldwin's 1974 novel by the same name. Set in Harlem, the film follows Tish, a young, pregnant woman, as she seeks to clear the name of her lover, Lonny, charged for a crime he did not commit.
The screening will take place on Monday, January 27 at 5:30 in the Auditorium on the ground floor of Parkway Central Library. This event is free to the public. No RSVP is required, and seating is first come, first served.
