Food in Jars: Marisa McClellan
Parkway Central Library
Cost: FREE
When it comes to canning, it's time to start thinking small! Local cookbook author and food blogger Marisa McClellan will be at the Free Library of Philadelphia on Thursday, July 24 to share her tiny batch approach to pickling, jam making, and preserving. She'll demonstrate two recipes from her new book, Preserving by the Pint: Quick Seasonal Canning for Small Spaces, and show you how quick and simple it can be to preserve seasonal produce. This class is good for both new and experienced canners.
Registration at freelibrarycook.eventbrite.com. Tickets are $40 and includes a signed copy of Marisa's book.
