This May 9, 1952, image shows an aerial view of the Logan Square neighborhood and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, from about 17th Street (lower left corner) to the Philadelphia Museum of Art (upper right corner). The Callowhill Street Bridge (replaced in 1965 by the Spring Garden Street Bridge) crosses Schuylkill River, along the top of the photograph. Logan Circle features prominently in the center, with the Franklin Institute just above, the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul just below, and the Parkway Central branch of the Free Library and the old Family Court building side by side to the right.
