The Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA) was founded in 1932. It became affiliated with the national BPAA All-Star tournament series, begun in 1941 (which became bowling's US Open since 1971). This undated image shows an interior view of the bowling alley during the 24th Annual All-Star tournament, thereby suggesting the photograph was taken ca. 1965.
