"Act II Scene 4

And now [In this last scene of the second act] the mountains were high [there were volcanoes] and the seas dried up -

One  by one the dinosaurs and sea reptiles and flying reptiles all disappeared. No one really knows why - except that not one remained - 

Mountains were high - seas disappeared

Flowering plants took over for the conifer

Mammals - fish - birds and the little mammals of the sea remained."
