Devonshire Terrace
Twenty Seventh March 1841.
My Dear Cattermole.
Will you book Saturday the Tenth of April at a quarter past 6 (that's this day fortnight) to dine here with our Clock Works, in honor of the new Wolume? And will you furthermore get the steam up to an extent which will enable you to toast the Ali Babas or wood cutters, to the concern?
Always Faithfully
And at present hastily
