Mr. Charles Dickens presents his compliments to Miss Waley, and begs to say that he has no doubt Miss Waley’s benevolent offer will be very acceptable to the Managers of the Ragged Schools. Mr. Dickens scarcely knows, at this moment, to whom the parcel should be sent; but he is in communication with the teachers, and will be happy to take charge of it himself, if Miss Waley will have the kindness to entrust it to him.
