Devonshire Terrace
Eighth September 1848.
My Dear Stone.
I have received the enclosed from my friend Regnier who (you will see) labors under a groundless apprehension of your historical inaccuracy.
If there is anything you would wish me to write to him in reply, I will do so very gladly. Address me at Broadstairs, whither I return tomorrow morning.
I will not forget to give you timely notice of the Homeward Bound Voyage pr. Maidstone and Rochester.
Faithfully Ever
Charles Dickens
