Notes: This book was rebound in the sixteenth-century. Although this is not the book's original cover, it contains many of the features of a medieval binding, including wooden boards covered in leather and clasps to keep the book shut tightly so that the pages are protected. This binding is decorated with gilt tooling. The center medallion is surmounted by a stamp with the monogram of Christ (IHS).
