Dear Mark
Next Wednesday—I mean February the Seventh—is my Birthday. If you can alter your Punch day[1]for the occasion, come down to Gravesend as we did last year. I shall order dinner at 5, but propose to go down for a walk (with a bag), by North Kent train from London Bridge at 12.
