Dear Mark
At the Committee[2], I found Stanny, who (of course) seduced me away from my home, and with which hoary ruffian I am going to dine at the G[3]. at 5. He is bent on joining us on a theatrical excursion; “Tom”[4] being in attendance. Send me a word by Bearer, to say that you will join the old Salt, and the undersigned Genial Oil.[5]
