Monday Night December Tenth 1855
Dear Mark.
Do you happen to intend to be at home and disengaged, next Sunday? If yes, I would rather join your family-dinner than dine with any body else.
If not intending to be at home, but still disengaged for out of doors next Sunday, I am available for any cosy corner.
If engaged either way or both ways, so much the worse.
If in want of a holiday on Saturday per railway ticket, this is to announce that undersigned purposes to cross from Boulogne at half past one, arriving at Folkestone (I suppose), at about half past three. Stroll at Folkestone, dinner at Pavilion, railroad home at night, might be approved of by Britain’s dramatist.
Loves from all.
Ever affectionately
CD.
