Lewis E M 47:12-15 appear to be from the same manuscript based on similarities in layout, script, and other physical evidence. If this is the case, the manuscript was illuminated by at least two artists, one of whom was either French or working in the manner of contemporary French painting. His work can be seen in the figures in this initial, especially in the depiction of the two figures.
