My Dear Edwin Landseer
Many thanks for the little book. But I cannot say--somehow--I scarcely known why--that it interests me as much as I had expected from Mr. Gladstone's account. Perhaps it is because the writer does not seem to me at all to understand a child, and is so mightily wise.
Bad weather this, for our Scotch trip!
