C E Shepheard Esq
Dear Sir,
Your letter concerning the one in my possession from C. Dickens, has been forwarded to me here from Hove, I being at present from home. Would you kindly let me know what sum you would think the said letter would be worth to you, that I may consider the matter? As I confess to being very loath to part with it, on many accounts. My address, up to next Thursday (July 3rd) will be
Miss Kolle
c/o Mrs Watson Jones
Oakfield
Oakley Street
Shrewsbury
I should have no objection to sending you a copy of the letter on my return home, in about a fortnight or three weeks from this date, as you wish it, should I decide to keep the original. The purpose of its contents is of a similar nature to the one now in your possession, relating to myself. I have it not with me, & cannot copy it till my return home. I am,
Dear Sir,
Yours faithfully,
Ann Kolle
