Notes: The inside cover and first flyleaf of the book contain information about the previous owners, including Thomas F. Richardson of Boston, whose stamp appears, and whose collection was sold to John Frederick Lewis in 1919. The much-worn note written in a seventeenth- or eighteenth-century hand on the inside of the cover tells that the manuscript was once in the possession of the Abbot von Heselwang of the monastery of Baumberg, near Traunsteim, in Bavaria.
