Originally called "Northwest Square." Eventually re-named Logan Square. Circle designed by Jacques Gréber (1882-1962) and built in the 1920's. Swann Memorial Fountain (or Fountain of the Three Rivers) created by Alexander Stirling Calder (1870-1945) and designed by Wilson Eyre (1858-1944). In the background is the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. Designed by John Notman (1810–1865) and Napoleon Eugene Charles Henry LeBrun (1821-1901). Built 1864.
