Written in brownish black ink, in a careful bookhand with decorative initials; on paper with vertical chainlines, sewn in 8's and signed A-U W X-2B.

Binding: dark brown calf over thick bevelled wooden boards; covers blind-tooled with fillets to a panel design; two fore-edge clasps with leather straps and brass catches; brass corner bosses on front and back
